Author visits Tsinghua classes

I recently had the opportunity to speak with students at Tsinghua University, a leading Chinese academic insttituion in Beijing that has been compared with the Massachutsetts Institute of Technology. This lucky student in a well-attended MBA class received a free copy of my recently published book, Silicon Dragon (McGraw-Hill) as a prize for asking one of the best questions during the Q&A session.
I was impressed with the calibre of the students. China gets criticized for emphasizing education by memorization. But from I witnessed, the classes encourage open dialog. This is a very good sign for China's future development as an innovation nation.
